The winner of the 2006 Gulder Ultimate Search, Hector Oluwaseun Jobarteh has been killed by gunmen in Lagos on Saturday, September 2.

Two gunmen who were said to have trailed him to his home from MM2 airport opened fire after inquiring from a neighbour as to the whereabouts of the owner of the car parked outside.

Hector, a father of one is reported to have just returned from the airport where he picked up his younger brother.

He is survived by his wife of four years who participated in GUS as well but said to be living abroad.
