Hugo Broos who led the Cameroon team to victory at the last Africa Cup of Nations admitted that his team’s chances of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup were effectively crushed after the game against the Super Eagles.

Cameroon are second on the table with just two points after drawing in their previous two games before the lashing from the revitalized Super Eagles.

Nigeria will be travelling to Yaounde for a return leg against Cameroon on Monday and even a win for the Indomitable Lions cannot restore their hopes for qualifying for the World Cup to hold in Russia come June 2018.
