UNILORIN POST UTME: Blood, sweat and tears as desperate applicants troop in

Today the 11th day of September 2017, marks the commencement of the post utme examinations of the university of Ilorin (Unilorin) for interested candidates who wish to be admitted into the school.

As usual, the school environment is filled up with candidates from far and wide who have come to write the exams.

The struggle began as early as 8am this morning as there was a serious traffic jam from the roads leading to the university, through the university gates and down to the examination center itself.

As candidates struggled to get in line for the exams, it was a battle for survival of the fittest. This struggle will however last a week as the exam is scheduled to hold from the 11th to 15th of September 2017

It is however important to take cognizance of the fact that over a 100 thousand people registered for this exams and the school is willing to admit a little more than 5 thousand of this lot.

Now the question is, for the over 90 thousand candidates left, who have fallen short of the school’s mercy and have been refused admission, is the struggle really worth it?
